How it works
Write one goal
For example “understand photosynthesis” or “finish five algebra questions”. A small, clear goal makes it easier to begin.
Pick a subject and a length
Use the classic 25 minutes or set your own. Your subject is recorded so Study Hamlet can show where your time goes.
Focus, with pauses when you need them
Pause and resume at any time. Paused time never counts as study time, so your totals stay honest.
Finish and see your progress
Your minutes, daily goal and streak update, and you earn 5 study tokens for every focused minute.
What you get
- Custom lengths as well as the classic Pomodoro-style 25 minutes
- A daily goal and a flexible streak so one missed day does not erase your progress
- If the page closes mid-session, Study Hamlet recovers the time you did study
- Optional reminders on your device, with quiet hours
- Study insights show time by day and subject, week on week
- Free, no ads and no account needed
Questions
What is the Pomodoro technique?
It is a way of working in short, focused blocks, traditionally 25 minutes, with a short break after each. Study Hamlet’s timer defaults to 25 minutes and lets you choose any length.
Does paused time count?
No. Only time the timer is actually running counts as focus time, and only that earns study tokens.
Do I have to play the games?
No. The games are optional. You can use the timer, planner and flashcards on their own and never open a game.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Once the site has been opened once while you are online, the timer and your notes keep working without a connection.
