Study Hamlet for every age
Study Hamlet is a study space with focus timers, notes, tasks and two games. Anyone can use it. What differs by age is whether an online account is involved.
Under 13
No account needed. Use Study Hamlet straight away; everything stays on the device. Or ask a parent to create a username profile for you: no email, name or birthday is ever needed.
Open Study Hamlet13 to 17
You can create your own account, with an email or just a username, to back up your notes and use them on other devices. We recommend telling a parent or guardian.
Create an accountParents and guardians
Create an account with your email, then add a child profile in Settings. Your child signs in with a username and password; you can reset the password or delete the profile any time.
Create an accountWhat Study Hamlet does not do
- No advertising, no purchases and no tracking. Website visits are only counted, without cookies and without knowing who visited.
- No public posting, chat or messages between users. Sharing a note only copies its text when you ask.
- No location, camera or contacts access. The microphone is used only when an adult taps Record in the optional Audio to notes feature, which is not available on child profiles.
- Nothing is loaded from other companies’ servers (even the fonts are built in).
The AI helper (optional)
The Question box has an AI helper that explains things step by step. It is off by default. Adults and teens can switch it on for themselves in Settings. A child profile can use it only if the parent switches it on in Settings → AI helper; the child can’t change that, and you can turn it off again any time. Children get a small daily limit, answers written for young learners, and Study Hamlet does not store their questions. Remind children not to type their name, school or address, and that AI can be wrong.
How child profiles work
- Parent or guardian: create an account with your email and confirm it.
- Open Settings → Child profiles → Add a child profile. Choose a username (not a real name) and a password, and confirm you are the child’s parent or guardian.
- Your child opens Study Hamlet, chooses Sign in, and uses their username and password. Their notes are saved under their profile.
- Forgot the password? You reset it in the same place. You can delete a profile at any time.
Tips for parents
- Use a nickname. Help children avoid putting full names, addresses, schools or other personal details in notes.
- Study rewards are optional. “Study-only” mode in Settings hides the games, rewards still count, and missing a day never removes anything earned.
- The games contain fantasy combat.
- You can export the journal, delete the cloud copy or delete the account at any time: see how to delete.
