Delete your Study Hamlet account

Last updated 21 October 2026

What deleting does

Deleting your account permanently removes your email address, sign-in, age statement record, your cloud journal and its saved versions from our live database straight away. This cannot be undone.

If you can sign in

  1. Open Study Hamlet (the Android app or the website) and sign in with your email, username or Google.
  2. Go to Settings and find Cloud & recovery.
  3. Select Delete my account.
  4. Type DELETE to confirm, then select Delete.

Child profiles

A parent or guardian can delete a child’s profile in Settings → Child profiles → Delete. Deleting a parent account also deletes all of its child profiles.

If you can’t sign in

Email sandyramachandran@gmail.com from the address registered to the account, with the subject “Delete my Study Hamlet account”. We will confirm and delete it, normally within 7 days. Username accounts have no email to match, so we may ask for details only the account holder would know; for a child profile, the parent should write from the email on their own account.

If you signed in with Google

Deleting your Study Hamlet account removes your Study Hamlet data only. Your Google account is not affected; you can also remove Study Hamlet’s access in your Google Account settings under “Sign in with Google”.

What is kept

Only want to remove the cloud copy?

Choose Delete cloud backup in the same place. Your account stays, and your notes on this device are kept.

Using Study Hamlet without an account?

Then we hold no data about you. Your information is only on your device, and you can delete it yourself in Settings.
